Butterfly Valve Types We have two types of butterfly valves in our stock: Wafer and Lug. The main difference between these two types lies in the connection method to the pipelines. Lug type butterfly valves have their own bolts for each flange, allowing the valve to be cleaned, inspected, and repaired without completely shutting down the system. On the other hand, wafer type butterfly valves are connected to the flanges by means of lugs. In this case, it is not possible to clean, inspect, and repair the valve without completely shutting down the system. Our Butterfly Valve Product Varieties
